A product of boredom, loneliness, and wanting something fun to do during the start of the pandemic, The Sip Society Podcast was born between myself and two friends who loved having wine nights and having deep, open, and meaningful conversations. It was a way for us to break down barriers and talk freely and openly about struggles, misconceptions, and shared experiences with grace and humor.
Upon wondering if there were women out there who didn't have friendships as we did, we wanted to open a door for others to connect with us during a time when isolation (and maybe alcohol consumption) was at a peak.
The Sip Society Podcast was a 6-month project. We built a brand, launched 21 episodes, and reviewed countless local-to-Oregon boozy brands on air. We also built a small social media following @sipsocietypodcast, connected with local alcohol brands, and recorded, produced, and edited all our own content.
